Editorial Review:
From The New York Times bestselling author of White Lies, Amanda Quick's new Arcane Society novel reveals the passionate--and paranormal--secrets of proper Victorian London.
Leona Hewitt, a gifted crystal worker, isn't the only one sneaking into Lord Delbridge's private museum to recover a relic. Thaddeus Ware, a mesmerist with psychic gifts, is on a similar mission. Neither one of them has any idea that this relic--a rare ancient crystal--will lead them in a deadly chase where danger and desire await.

Arcane Society:
This is the next installment of the Arcane Society Annals by Jayne Ann Krentz aka Amanda Quick aka Jayne Castle. They meet over a dead body in the house of a Lord who dabbles in dark powers, both attempting to secretly steal the jewel--and they find that they need both of their skills together to accomplish their goals. Afterwards, Thaddeus... more info

Interesting Read!:
I have read quite a few of Quicks books and this one is worth the read! I could not put it down! The subject was interesting and the characters were believeable. The romance could have been a little more involved. Overall, if you like her writing you should be satisfied with this book.
