This, like the other disks in the series, is a wonderful compilation of Americana -- "Folk music" in the pre-1960's sense of the term, meaning songs that parents have taught to their children for generations in America. Most are over a century old, but a few new songs are thrown in for good measure; by and large, the new songs fit well into the collection. Folksy kind of guitary kind of strummy kinda... Boring. It's well performed with high talent, but kids want goofy-stupid-silly stuff (at least mine does).
