curved claw hammer, 16 oz.:

For my needs this hammer is the correct length and weight. the leather grip does not slip in my hand even when I sweat. I will be recommending this hammer and I will be purchasing more as needed.

Estwing 16 oz leather:

Top quality with superb balance. In fact it feels more like a 13 oz. Estwing have been around since 1923 and the company still makes great hammers. Only criticism is I preferred the more pronounced curve on the claw that the earlier ones had.
