good buy:

I use the Makita grinder of this same size a lot at work, but when I decided to buy my own for use in my shop I bought this Hitachi model. Honestly I only bought the Hitachi because it was cheaper, but now that I've put some miles on it I like it as much or more than the Makita. The Hitachi has a better locking slide power button and feels more powerful. The only negatives are that it is slightly heavier than the Makita and that it sounds a little rough on the shutdown.
