Handy little pruner:
Fiskars Softouch Micro-Tip Pruning Snip #9921 This is a great tool. It's sharp, lightweight, and fits comfortably in my hand. Even my husband noticed how much easier it was for me to do the pruning. The only fault I see is the lock that engages sometimes while you're snipping. However, that is easily fixed and doesn't affect my satisfaction with this tool. I liked it so much that I bought one for my best friend.
expensive but worth every penny:
these little nippers get into place big shears can't! They're great for deadheading or topping off plants so you get bushier growth. i bought my last pair about 10 years ago and they're still doing remarkably well for their age.
Very good small pruner:
This is just the right size for dead-heading flowers and pruning small diameter branches. I use it all the time
Essential garden/greenhouse tool:
This little tool has a solid feel in my hand and can cleanly prune or deadhead without cutting the stems you want to keep. A wonderful gift for a gardener and priced reasonably.
