This is a great little addition to your normal house vacuum. For the small or light job this is perfect. The two batteries are a real improvement over the older model. I hope they last forever. Clean-up is easy, unless some yarn is caught in the beater bar. The only slight complaint would be the stick needs to be moved or the unit is hard to attach to the charger.
A good, strong cordless vacuum:
This is second Eureka 96B I have purchased. Other than the vendor (True Value) shipping a purple color when the photo and prior one was black, it is an excellent cordless vacuum. Lots of power and easy to use, also does not scratch wood floors.
Handy, dandy little vac:
For quick pick-ups on either hard or carpeted floors, this little unit works very well. It is a cordless, so suction wise, it won't replace my central vac, BUT it works great for in-between cleanings. I was skeptical about whether or not it would actually work on carpeted floors (as this is the 4th cordless/stick vac I have tried) but it DOES! I have low - med pile carpet and it nicely picks up the cat hair and the little messes my toddler seems bent on leaving for me! You do have to bend down to turn it... more info

I bought this vacuum about two weeks ago and LOVE it! I had been eyeing stick vacuums for a while, as I was disgusted with using a standard broom. With pets and children, it always amazes me the amount of crud that ends up on my floors. I purchased a cheapy model at KMart and returned it the very next day.
