Better than the Avanti blade:
Little selection in the 6.5" 40th blades. The Milwaukee blade is the best for the money as the large slots in the Freud Avanti [only other choice from amazon]can catch edges and has more tearout. I wish Freud would make a Diablo 40th in 6.5".
Extremely sharp, little tear out:
This Milwaukee thin kerf carbide blade cuts through wood products very quickly. The carbide tips are as sharp as little razors; there is hardly any tearout; and the cut-surface is pretty smooth. You should have no qualms about buying one of these first-rate circular saw blades. These fit the Milwaukee V28 cordless circular saw, among others.

I was told that this saw blade was back ordered, but I am beginning to wonder if I have been forgotten.Purchased on 4/06/2007 and still waiting as of 5/12/2007.
