This Fiestaware pedestal bowl is incredibly versatile. Not only is it a great size for serving pasta, rice, potatoes, or salad, it's also a wonderful decorative element: place it on a side or entry table and fill it with apples or tangerines to add color and scent to a room. When paired with the Fiestaware handled carafe, it also functions as an attractive and old-fashioned washing station; the 2 pieces would make a charming accessory in a guest bedroom. While the stylized design of many Fiestaware pieces is clearly Art Deco, this bowl is a bit more timeless, so it complements many styles of dinnerware and kitchen décor. I have 60 year old set of fiesta ware for eight that has travelled around the world and never chipped. My childhood dinnerware looks as modern today as then.

This is my favorite bowl in my Fiestaware collection. I have one in Scarlet Red and one in Black. I just love the pedestal style. Very attractive on the table or just on the counter with fruit. I have had many compliments on his bowl. You will love it!
