Editorial Review:
Like an artist's sketchbook, Naturewood is a study of botanical beauty that is rendered in a soft, natural color palette. A series of framed potted herbs such as rosemary, lemon verbena, and sweet bay are interspersed by detailed sketches of leaves. Delicate stripes and occasional accents of garden elements decorate various accessories.
Rendered in soft, natural colors, the Naturewood pattern decorating this four-piece place setting features a garden motif expressed by detailed sketchbook-like images of potted herbs, leaves, garden implements, and birdhouses. The heavy stoneware place setting consists of an 11-inch dinner plate, an 8-inch salad plate, a 7-1/4-inch soup/cereal bowl (holds 10 ounces), and a 12-ounce mug with a soft-green interior. A leading U.S. manufacturer of casual dinnerware and household accessories, Pfaltzgraff introduced the charming Naturewood pattern, available in dozens of cooking, serving, and home-decor items, to its vast collection in 1996. The place setting is dishwasher-, microwave-, oven-, and freezer-safe and carries a three-year warranty against defects. Replacement pieces can be ordered individually. --Fred Brack

Best dishes for everyday:
Pfaltzgraff has got to be the best everyday dishes that you can buy. They are nice enough for special occasions, they are great quality. I have always had Pfatlzgraff dishes and wouldn't want anything else. They make every sort of extra you could want (and a few that you never would have thought of) and it all matches beautifully. I just can't say enough nice things about them.
