Face it--having a real honey pot is way cooler than squeezing a little plastic teddy bear when you want to sweeten your tea or cereal. This stoneware honey pot is sculpted to look like a round honeybee hive; there are even a couple of honeybees coming in for a landing. The pot is a warm off-white color, with a decorative accent band of green, purple, and mauve around the bottom. The lid has a little cutout to allow for the included wooden honey spoon. As with all Pfaltzgraff dishes, single replacement pieces are available if you ever break, say, just the lid. The stoneware is safe in the microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher. This honey pot is sooooo cute. I can't believe it!!! It looks great on my table. It reminds me of whinnie the pooh and goes great with my other stuff. It also holds lots of honey and hasn't leaked once. The pale creme color could go with almost any decor and is a great conversation starter. This year I'm sending one to my best friend, she absolutly adores mine.
