George Foreman, Champ Grill With Indigo Translucent Bun Warmer, Patented Design Grill For Healthy Cooking, Includes Bun Warmer, Grills 2 Burgers Or Chops & More, Double Non Stick Coated Grilling Plates, Indicator Light, Includes Drip Tray, Plastic Spatula
Topped by a bun warmer with a transparent lid in bright blue, this Champ is a variant of the popular George Foreman Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine. The electric appliance's appeal lies in its simplicity and countertop convenience--not to mention its fat-fighting ability. The double-sided grill (a 6-by-7-inch nonstick cooking surface) cooks burgers, steaks, chicken, sausage, fish, shrimp, and vegetables top and bottom in minutes. (Recipes accompany the grill.) Grill marks not only look appetizing they contribute caramelized flavor. The bottom grill's deep grooves collect fat, and the grill is sloped so the fat runs off into a dishwasher-safe plastic tray stationed under the unit's front.
The nonstick bun warmer draws heat from the grill and can be used while food is grilling or by itself. (The entire unit, grill and bun warmer, turns on by plugging in the power cord.) The warmer heats a burger's bun as well as other bread items, including English muffins, tortillas, pita bread, sliced bagels, and croissants. Because the grill is nonstick, cleanup is a snap: just a quick scrape with a plastic spatula (included) and a quick wipe with a paper towel or a sponge. --Fred Brack

Love it!:
I received this grill as a RE-gift from someone who doesn't know how to cook anything besides biscuits and gravy. An indoor grill wasn't something this person would even know what to do with. And what a lucky break for me! I have used it to cook EVERYTHING! I have grilled ocean scallops to perfection. They were tender and perfectly carmelized on the top and bottom. I have made marinated shish-ke-bob using filet mignon, and they came out better than any steak I have ever cooked. Tender, juicy and cooked... more info
EXCELLENT PRODUCT!:
I first saw this product advertised in a TV infomercial but did not buy it right away. While on a trip to visit my uncle, I used a George Foreman Grill and found it to be an excellent product. So, in May, 2001 I bought the model GR10ABW. My ONLY complaint is an issue that Salton has addressed, and that issue was that the grill plates were difficult to clean. Salton has since come up with removable grill plates, which I think are a great idea. Getting back to the GR10ABW, I appreciate that it cooks on... more info
Does the job:
This is a good grill 1-2 people. I used it in my college years, however once I got married and started really cooking, I found that I needed a bigger one and preferred one with removable plates. The grill plate on this is not removable so clean-up stinks. Also, the latch on my bun warmer broke so when I lift up the lid, the bun warmer lid falls open. The bun warmer is a neat idea, but I wish it was 'tortilla' size since I make fajitas more often than burgers with it. Also, great for hot dogs!
Foreman Grill:
Love the Foreman Grill the larger the better.
Cooks everything. This was a gift.
