neither original nor replacement worked:
The 1st one I ordered didn't work at all. Ordered a replacement which initially didn't work either. But then after holding the batteries in tighter by hand, the fan moved very slowly and only sporadically. Maybe the next one would have worked fine, but I've lost faith in the product's construction so I'll look for something else.

The cartridge does not last 120hrs per the claim. I'm not sure whether this product's ineffectiveness was due to the short-live scent or whether the mosquitoes were not affected by it in the first place. All I do know is that I was bothered and bitten every time I used it for the 10-12 days I used it.
At last something that works indoors....:
Moving to Florida I realised what a big problem mosquitos can be in summer. For me it was a greater problem because my wife and son seem extremely allergic to mosquito bites....even a single mosquito bite can make them red all-over. I found hardly any product for indoor use and it was tough to avoid a stray mosquito sneaking in and biting during the night. This product has worked like a charm (in my 2 weeks of use).
Works Well:
Bought this and it seems to be working well. I used to have all these small bites on my forearms but they have all disappeared since I started using this repellent.
The con to this device is that the small fan that blows the aroma is so weak, the only way to hear it even working is to hold it up to your ear. I have it in front of my window fan that blows most of the aroma throughout the room, so that is probably why it is working as well as it is.
