I never cared much about dishes until...:

Five years ago, I had bought ten place settings of tangerine and cinnabar because I had run out of dishes due to breakage. I was looking for thick dishes in bold fall colors that could withstand the microwave, oven, and dishwasher. As I was stumbling on a random web search, I came across Fiestaware. fiestaware place setting:

Fiesta Dinnerware, 5-piece setting. Was delivered promptly, however, one of the plates has discoloration on the back, almost looks like color did not take.

Durability and colors too!:

I love the durability of Fiestaware compared to my previous Pfaltzgraf dishes which chipped and broke more easily and were more expensive. I also like the flexibility of mixing and matching colors. The colors are vibrant and are a great addition to my kitchen decor. I currently own persimmon, cinnibar, and shamrock. Though the persimmon looks pink in the amazon pictures, they are actually an orange/dark coral color and beautiful!
