Remove wrinkles from garments and drapes quickly and easily, without the hassle of ironing. The Euro-Pro Garment Steamer boasts 1500 watts of motor power to heat up in just 2 minutes. High-velocity jets emit steam out of a 5-1/2" wide head, smoothing fabric from sheer to woolens, without scorching or leaving behind shine. A detachable brush captures lint while steaming, and the big, rubber-tire wheels allow you to move the steamer around. A sturdy chrome rod telescopes up to 60" high for hanging garments. Removable 1-gallon water tank provides up to 90 minutes of steaming time, and the handy steam hose is extra long (5'). Imported. Base: 13-1/2Hx11Wx16D".
A fast, easy alternative to ironing, this garment steamer shoots high-velocity steam jets out of a 5-1/2-inch-wide head to smooth any fabric from sheer to the thickest woolen without scorching it and without leaving behind the "shine" an iron can. Its speed, ease, and mobility (on big, rubber-tire wheels) explain why garment steamers like this are so popular backstage in the fashion and entertainment fields. This one employs a 1,500-watt motor to heat up in about two minutes. The steamer head comes with a detachable brush that can be snapped in place to capture lint during steaming. A removable 1-gallon water tank provides up to 90 minutes of steaming time. The steamer rolls to work for steaming drapes and curtains, or garments can be brought to it and hung on a hook that connects to a sturdy chrome rod that telescopes up to 60 inches high. For storage, the steamer head clips to the rod. The steamer's plastic-clad base measures 16 inches long, 13-1/2 inches high (including water tank), and 11 inches wide. It carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Decent steamer.:
I am honestly surprised by the very negative reviews here. I have used hand steamers and commercial steamers when working in retail stores, and am mostly happy with this home steamer. It is effective on most types of clothing, even my husband's military uniforms, and is simple to use. The negatives would be that it is awkward to move around and does get somewhat hot on the exterior. Neither of these is a big enough hassle to cause me to go back to the iron, though!!
Decent Steamer if you don't have high expectations:
I've had this for about a year. Overall it works well. I think we all have high expectations for a steamer because of the infomercials that sell this product. A steam cleaner is good for getting out general wrinkles, as well as some smells and dirt. Not to replace something that needs that "ironed" look (ie. button up dress shirts). I use it for my dresses and my husband's suits.
We took pics of my niece in her wedding dress (before the wedding day) and she got a little bit of dirt and wrinkles on it.... more info
You couldn't do worse:
When I first took the unit out of the box, I knew I had made a mistake. Not only does the unit itself fell cheaply constructed, but all of the attachments are held together by primitive, easy-to-break levers. When turned on, the unit is loud and hemorrhages scalding water all over your clothes. I would have returned it, but attachments had arrived broken already. We tried using it on the set of an independent film - we were surprisingly relieved when the product burned itself out after a few hours of... more info
