Editorial Review:
Offering unlimited creativity, this programmable computerized machine makes sewing fun for both experts and novices. Getting started is surprisingly easy thanks to an excellent illustrated instruction booklet and convenient features such as automatic needle threading and adjustable thread tension, stitch length, and stitch width. An LCD screen keeps track of everything going on, touch-button controls make the machine simple to operate and program, and buttons select from the 40 stitches built into the machine. Creativity then becomes a snap to replicate, as the computer's memory is capable of storing 30 customized stitch patterns. The machine is practical as well as fun, providing three styles of one-step automatic buttonholes, for example, as well as a reverse button for locking seam ends and reinforcing stitches, a speed adjustment control, an option for automatically sewing three locking stitches at the end of a seam, and another option for stopping the needle above fabric (up position) or in the fabric (down position). Ruggedly built, the machine has a sewing light, a built-in carry handle, a slide-out sewing table (which stores accessories) for free-arm sewing, and comes with a hard carrying case. Also accompanying the machine are an accessory package including needles, bobbins, a seam ripper, a brush, and 12 feet (all-purpose, zipper, buttonhole, cording, overcasting, blind hem, hemmer, satin-stitch, quilting, darning/embroidery, gathering, and button sewing). The instruction booklet offers lots of useful tips on sewing as well as detailed explanations of when and how to use the various feet. The machine carries a 25-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
Customer Reviews: Avg. Customer Rating: 3.0 / 5.0 Euro-pro Sewing machine:
This machine was the worst machine I ever brought. It worked fine for about 6 months. That the thing started to fall apart. I had to tape parts on. While making several quilts out of fleece I lost the piece of plastic that wnet over the bobbin. The last straw was at Christmas when the machine simply would not sew. The only stitch I could get was a straight stitch, and I had trouble with it. Our only sewing store in our city of 40,000 told me to never bring the machine to him for repairs. This week I ended... more info
Amazon price is not $1600 less! It's $300 MORE than other retailers!!:
If you Google Euro-Pro 9105, you will see that an authorized retailer is selling this machine for $299 and they claim the MSRP is $699. So, if you must buy this machine... don't do it here. Euro-Pro 9105 is a great computer sewing machine with no difficultities using it:
I've had my Euro-Pro 9105 sewing machine since 2003 and I never had any problems using it. I'm not the best sewer and usually have a difficult time following directions and I still haven't found it hard to following the manuals directions. I've made dresses, skirts, pants, and tops. Wright now I'm finishing off the second part the Fashion Design Certificate program (Beginner/Intermediate). I use my Euro-Pro 9105 sewing machine more now than when I first bought it 3 years ago without any difficulties. Maybe... more info Let the buyer beware!!!!!:
If you are lucky enough to receive (any) Euro-Pro product that is without defect (about 1 in 3), God bless you! If, however, you have to deal with Euro-Pro's non-existant (3rd world...Did I say it was helpful if you spoke 'Hindi'??) 'Customer Service' (LMAO), be prepared to have plenty of Pepto-Bismal on hand. In my opinion, this company and its generally shoddy products are just not worth dealing with.
