Beautiful and functional.:
Unlike most of the reviews here, I really enjoy my knife set. I am an avid cook and these work fine for me. They do need to be sharpened on occasion but the sharpening tool works great and they sharpen up nicely.
The set is beautiful and looks like brushed stainless. The knives feel good in the hand and arent really heavy and akward. I have owned this set for 2 years now and still use it daily. I wouldnt pay over $200 for them but for what I paid (around $70) I find them to be just what I was looking... more info
Great Knives, Cheesy Block:
These knives are wonderful. Got them on sale for < $60, and they are really worth it. The knife block, on the other hand, is junk. Didn't need it though, so it's a win.
I expected more:
These knives looked much better on the picture than when I got them. They are nice and sharp but not as heavy or as nice as I expected from Henckels. But then again they are the International version which is the ONE GUY thingie and not as nice! They are also Stamped steel if you care that they are forged or not. They are light weight and look great, so if you like knives that are not too heavy in your hand then these are the ones for you. I like a heavy handle and more weight so that it feels... more info
great knives!:
these knives are so sharp and they look great. i am not a professional chef or care to be, but these knives are more than capabale of handling everyday kitchen tasks easily such as cutting vegetables for a salad or trimming fat off a chicken breast. i also have the miracle blade knives and these henckels are so much better and sharper than those knives. the only thing is that the block is very light and apt to tip over when pulling out a knife.
