Homemade breads, cakes, and pastas taste exceptional when made with home-milled flour. This grain mill accessory attaches to any DeLonghi DSM800 or DSM700 stand mixer. Simply fill the hopper with any dry cereal or grain such as wheat, buckwheat, rye, millet, rice, or husked barley, set the grinder on any of six settings from fine to coarse, and the grain is milled to perfection. Oats can be ground on the coarsest setting. Measuring 6 by 3-1/2 inches, the hopper holds approximately 8 cups of rice or 6 cups of oats. A one-year warranty covers this accessory. --Ann Bieri

slow but sure:
I sold my BIG Whisper Mill(very loud by the way)to buy the Delonghi a941 Grain Mill because of space and to upgrade which I like to do every once in a while.It's a tiny little thing,definately doesn't take much space. Compared to the Whisper Mill it is very slow, but you can fill it and go away.You wouldn' want to have to grind flour when you need it now.I like it.
Great product:
My wife is gluten-intolerant, so we use this a lot. It works very well! On the finest setting it got an annoying high-pitched squeak, so we e-mailed the manufacturer and asked if and how we could oil it. They replied promptly and said that a little vegetable oil is okay to use, but backing it off a smidge form the very finest setting possible should eliminate most of that noise without changing the performance. Both have worked.
