Editorial Review:
For mixing all the way to the bottom of deep pots or pitchers, its durable snap-in attachment can be immersed as far down as 8 inches. The blender's speed-control dial offers variable speeds ranging from nine (high) to one (low), while its power button allows for one-touch starting and stopping. Two ejector buttons, one on either side of the blender body, provide simple attachment removal. Other convenient features include quick and easy assembly and storage, a 5-foot extra-long power cord, and a comfortable, ergonomic, non-slip grip. A 3-cup blending beaker and sealing lid are included. For simple clean up, all attachments and accessories are dishwasher-safe and the smooth surface of the blender body is easy to wipe clean.

Very Impressed with Kitchenaid Immersion Blender:
I had never used an immersion blender before purchasing this one. I'm very happy with it even though I have only used it a few times (I've had it a few weeks), so I cannot attest to its longevity. It worked superbly for making creamed soups and mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. It is a very handy tool and I plan to use it a lot in the future.
Fine product:
This immersion blender does just what it's supposed to do. I've blended soups and frothed milk.
BUT... I just bought this thing!:
Wait a second! I only just purchased this thing. Why would I have a useful opinion of it yet? It's HUGE, I can tell you that? It's like 1/3rd bigger than the plastic Braun you all have already? It seems to have about the same horsepower and torque as the typical Poulan chainsaw or outboard motor? Do that help? I like the color...
Handy blender - requires very little storage space:
This is exactly as advertised. I love it. It's the perfect size for anyone that makes smoothies for one or two. I would recommend it for use in an RV, as it fits neatly into a drawer. It's a little heavy - so I would recommend a regular blender for making more than one batch of drinks.
