Editorial Review:
Unmatched glideability combined with greater steaming performance!
This Ultraglide iron gets the job done and makes ironing a little less tedious than most irons. The scratch-resistant, non-stick Ultraglide Diffusion soleplate glides smoothly over clothes so ironing goes faster and requires less pressure. Tiny holes in the soleplate disperse steam evenly, making it easier to remove wrinkles. A sliding lever in front of the iron's handle lets you adjust the amount of steam. For tough wrinkles, a burst of steam button delivers a steady spray of water. A spray nozzle on the front of the iron sends a cool mist directly in front of the area being ironed for further help with wrinkle removal. The 250-milliliter water reservoir is a transparent blue plastic, allowing you to view how much water is left. A slide-out drawer on the iron's handle speeds up refilling and ensures that water won't leak out. The iron has a self-cleaning system to help flush out mineral build-up and prolong its life. For safety, the Ultraglide Diffusion iron automatically shuts off if left face down or on its side for 30 seconds, or if left propped up on its end for 8 minutes. A 9-foot cord provides plenty of maneuverability without concern about tangles. The soleplate on this iron is covered under a 10-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Good Iron. Very happy with it!:
I received this iron for free and I am very happy with it. The steam and the apray work well with this iron and it glides nicely over the clothes that I iron. It doesn't leak and I haven't had any problems with it all.
Broke after two years:
We bought this iron a couple of years ago and when it was about 18 months old the heat adjustment lever became very sticky. After a little over two years of occasional use, it came apart inside, so that the iron was permanently set to high. Being a handy person I could see through the clear panel what came loose and figured it would be easy to fix it. But the iron is put together in a way to really discourage the home fixer. I finally figured out a way to pry it apart enough to slip my finger in and fix the... more info
Not Worth IT:
Great while it worked, but lasted less than 2 years. Just quit heating.
Best Iron Yet:
I've owned many different irons over the years. This one is the best. Easy to use, due to the ultraglide feature. Nice long cord, and the best part is its so easy to fill. You don't have to tilt it at an odd angle to fill. Just pull out the stop, and fill it from the included "pitcher". The last few irons I owned spit water and leaked all over the place.
Definite recommendation.
