Complements other Fiesta pieces for a well-matched set
Editorial Review:
Is it the bright, mix and match colors? Or the timeless yet nostalgic art deco design? Did you first fall in love with an old pitcher at a flea market, or with a gleaming new teapot at a department store? Are you passionate about one particular color or do you fall into "the more the merrier" camp? Avid fans of Fiesta have been collecting it for over six decades, making it one of the most popular china patterns in the world. One of the very best features of Fiestaware is the opportunity to personalize your addiction, um, collection.
Fiestaware was first introduced in 1936 and remained popular throughout the '40s, '50s, and '60s, prized for its art deco design, colorful glazes, and smart accessories such as creamers, vases, pitchers, and candlesticks. Fiestaware was reissued in 1986 to mark the 50th anniversary of the line and is popular today for the same reasons: bold colors, great styling, a la carte piece selection for a personalized set--and now a 100-percent lead-free glaze for better health. Today's Fiestaware is available in over 10 colors, so you can collect pieces in one color or pursue a mix-and-match effect with pieces of assorted colors. The thin shape of this 7-1/8- by 4-1/4-inch covered butter dish fits easily in the built-in butter compartment of an average-size refrigerator, and its smart, streamlined appearance adds retro flair to a casual dining room or kitchen table. --Emily Wolf

I enjoy the touch of green:
I am very happy with this Fiestaware covered butter dish. I can't remember how long it has been since I had a covered butter dish, that is #1. #2 is I really want to collect Fiestware and this seemed to be a good place to start. And #3, I love the punch of green in my kitchen.
Delivery was quick, it was very well wrapped; Iwould buy from this seller again.
satisfied:
I was happy to find this Fiesta Ware butter dish on Amazon (super saver shipping!) It was a lot darker blue than my old Fiesta Ware (1940's)so I was a little dissappointed wishing I had gotten the yellow instead. The butter looks real pretty against the blue though so I guess it'll work.
FIESTA BUTTER DISH:
THIS WAS A DIFFICULT ITEM TO FIND IN ANY STORE. IT NEEDED TO BE SPECIAL ORDERED AT ANY OF THE PLACES THAT I WENT. I LOOKED ON EBAY AND THERE WERE FEW. WHEN I LOOKED ON AMAZON.COM I WAS HAPPY TO SEE THE ONE I WAS LOOKING FOR AND FOR A GOOD PRICE. I SHOULD HAVE STARTED THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. THANKS FOR THE GREAT SELECTION, PRICE AND SHIPPING TIME. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.
