There are lots of options for mounting a benchtop planer, but this is one of the best. While it's predrilled precisely for DeWalt planers, a few seconds with a drill fixes that problem. It's made of rugged, durable, heavy-gauge steel and assembles fairly easily in under an hour. When locked, the unit's rock-stable, but just trip the pedal that engages the wheels and you're moving. Great Solid Value:

Received in three days. Well packed, great price, easy assembly, solid stand. As others have mentioned, the written instructions are poor but looking at the graphics clears any issues. I agree with the review that the foot peddle should be placed on the outside. You just can't reach it with your foot if you have the shelf installed. Amazon, you came through again.
Also ordered the extension tables for the 735. great price and it makes the planer complete.

I own several DeWalt power tools and have been pleased with the quality of their products. I bought this stand to use with a 12" DeWalt planer I purchased several years ago and am very happy with the design and quality of the item. It is a sturdy stand similar to the stand for my DeWalt woodworkers table saw. My planer is now easy to move around and is rock-solid when the front caster is lowered for use.

The stand is rock solid. Do as the other guys say, do not read the directions. They make no sense at all. Follow the pictures, not the text. Use up all the small carriage bolts, nuts, and lock washers first. Put the wheels on last, not first. Assemble all the legs and top as one unit, then mount it to the base. Excellent Value - Performance:

Easy to assemble, almost without the instruction sheet in an easy 45 minutes including interruptions from my wife asking why I needed another mobile base. Yes, the instructions were wrong about the bolt sizing, but anyone investing in a DeWalt Planner should be able to afford both Standard & Metric wrenches, and the reviews here prepared me for it.
