A+++++ Clamping:

This is a great product for the function I was looking for. I needed a clamp that adjusted position on the same side that clamps. I have a table (bench) with a top full of inserted nuts (3/4") that I use as the fixed side of these clamps. I bought three of them. Instead of using the fixed side of these clamps, I can screw them on the table nuts and easily turn that table area into a clamp, anywhere in the top. Pony 3/4" Deep Throat Pipe Clamp:

These clamps have been around forever and for those of us who are older than dirt they are like dear friends that we could not bear living without. I have several and will continue using them until one of us wears out.

Solid clamps that offer an affordable alternative:

I suggest that if you are just beginning to build your clamp collection, purchase 4-6 of the deep reach and 4-6 of the standard Pony pipe clamps. Go down to your local Home Depot and pickup 3/4" black pipe in an array of lengths. You will be amazed with the versatility.

The clamps are powerful and don't slip under load. On Amazon clamp pads are available to protect your work.
