Bright blue with mustard gold accents; coordinates with the Pistoulet collection
Dishwasher-, microwave-, and freezer-safe
Editorial Review:
Pfaltzgraff has created a beautiful collection of dinnerware, serveware and accessories based on the book, The Secrets of Pistoulet by Jana Kolpen. Each piece is brightly decorated with freely rendered flowers, vines and vegetables drawn from or influenced by the book's illustrations, also by Ms. Kolpen. Bright, colorful drawings are set against wide watercolor washes that evoke the light and colors of Southern France. Be transformed by the magic of Pistoulet. Canister- Tea of Courage Jar: 2-qt.
Inspired by the story, The Secrets of Pistoulet by Jana Kolpen, the enchanting canister from the eclectic collection creates a charming touch to any counter. Transporting a kitchen to the French countryside with rustic chic, the diverse palette of warm watercolors and handpainted touches on this lidded jar offers stylish storage for teas and coffees. A lovely shade of blue washes over the body and matches the cute knob on the canister's lid contrasts with mustard gold accents. Evoking the book, "Tea of Courage" is embossed above an herbal swag in relief circling around the lovely urn shape. Completing the set of three complementary designs, this small jar coordinates with the diverse collection of dinnerware and serveware for a delightful kitchen décor. Crafted from durable glazed stoneware, it comes with Pfaltzgraff's three-year warranty, and is dishwasher-, freezer, oven, and even microwave-safe. --Roberta Cruger

Looks like "Courage" to me.:
I am very pleased with this canister. The colors are beautiful. It is well made and has a nice seal. I am not sure if Pfaltzgraff changed the design, but the words "Tea of Courage" do not look like "Tea of Cowage" to me.
We like Cowage!:
We love this canister! I bought it because I thought "tea of cowage" was hilarious! I use it as a money catcher in my bedroom and my husband and I still chuckle every time we use it. It is really pretty and looks nice on my dresser, better than the jug I had, plus it brings some laughter to my life, never a bad thing!
One mans COWAGE is another womans COURAGE!:
This is a beautiful piece and the picture they show IS NOT the way it looks. The picture Mark provided is absolutely correct, but before I saw that picture I didn't SEE it that way, Maybe because I write similar to the way it is wriiten on the canister I didn't think anything of it. I like it and it just makes it one of a kind for sure.
Tea of 'Cowage' Cannister:
The cannister says 'Tea Of Cowage', NOT Tea of Courage.
I sent one back and the next one said the same, so I sent that one back too for a refund. Thankfully, Amazon
has wonderful return policies. Check out the 'customer image' I uploaded to this page above. Amazingly poor Product Quality Control on Pfaltzgraf's part. Too bad, because it's otherwise a very nice tea cannister, albeit pricey..
