Pistoulet, inspired by the magical farmhouse of the same name in Jana Kolpen's book, The Secrets of Pistoulet, expresses the sunny hospitality of southern France. Crafted of durable stoneware, this cream and sugar set cheerfully complements not only Pfaltzgraff's Pistoulet teapot but a complete line of dinnerware, introduced in 2002.
Predominantly yellow with green handles, the sugar bowl and creamer are each encircled by a delicately hand-painted vine and wavy terracotta accent line. A bright blue lid topped by a green fleur-de-lis filial sits on the scalloped rim of the sugar bowl. Slight variations due to the hand-painting give each piece of Pistoulet a charm of its own. Backed by Pfaltzgraff's five-year warranty, the set is safe for the oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer, and comes prettily packaged in a sunflower yellow gift box. --Ann Bieri

Beautiful:
Received these as a birthday present after I bought the dishes. They are nicer in person than the picture, of a good size and look lovely sitting on my shelf when I am not using them. They were also very well packed. Although the outside box was banged up, they were in perfect shape.
Better than expected:
The Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet sugar and creamer are even nicer than I had expected. The sugar has a large capacity which I appreciate and both items are unusually attractive. I have the whole set of this pattern and love every piece, but perhaps the sugar and creamer best.
