Cordless Or Corded, Worksite Radio/Charger, That Charges The 7.2V - 18V Dewalt Batteries Within 1 Hour When Plugged Into Power Source, Digital Tuner Radio With Shatter Proof LDC Display, High Efficiency Speakers, Built In Clock, Fast Seeking Capable Radio Runs Off Of The Same Dewalt Batteries, Incorporates A CD Storage Case, Shock-Mounted Roll Cage & Auxiliary Input ForUs e With Portable CD Player.
It looks great and sounds even better, even above the din of nailers, compressors and saws. But it's not just a radio: The DeWalt DC011 also charges 7.2-volt through 18-volt DeWalt batteries in an hour and plays up to eight hours from a single DeWalt battery if electricity is not available. The radio is AM/FM with a digital tuner, and an auxiliary port lets you plug in a CD player. It's tough enough for the jobsite, too, wearing a rugged, high-impact roll cage, steel speaker grills, and weather-resistant body. Our only complaint is that there's no battery included, but this probably isn't your first cordless tool, either. You can't go wrong, whether it'll play at the job or the home workshop.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Nice Radio/Recharger:
Good quality sound, will run on battery power when unplugged, charges Dewalt cordless tool battery pack when plugged. Didn't come with a battery. It's a must have at the jobsite if you use Dewalt cordless tools.
Worst DeWalt product ever:
I finally am able to remove this piece of junk from my truck and replace it with something else. I've been a user of DeWalt and their cordless tools for some time, and generally love their products, but this one is a terrible joke. DeWalt makes fantastic tools; they need to buy these junk radios back and put out a better designed jobsite radio.
Another awesome Dewalt product.:
Works perfectly... Only down side is the charger is in the back, so if you have it on a shelf you have to pull it down to swap batteries. Great reception and easy to program.
Overheats Batteries:
I am a professional contractor who lives in a small town in North Dakota. This is my second DeWalt DC011 Radio Charger in a years' time. My first radio worked fine the first couple of months that I had it. (Happened to be wintertime and I was using it in a house under construction with only a space heater for heat at the time. By the time summer rolled around, I found that it was blinking the Hot/Cold Pack Delay signal. I found the pack which had been placed in to be extremely hot, and it wasn't when I put... more info
