Kitchen Aid Proline Toaster:

A huge disappointment. The toaster was used for two days before one half of the machine stopped working. For a $140 toaster this is ridiculous.
This is an expensive machine bought so that the irritation of having to constantly replace cheap toasters could be ended. Instead it did not even last as long as a Walmart $12 model. PERFECT TOAST:

Worth every penny!!! Kitchenaid products are the best.....Customer service is out of this world..if there is a problem the replacement shows up within 48 hours.

KitchenAid Pro Line 4-Slice Toaster:

Our entire family loves this new toaster. At first we were skeptical about the lack of popping up, but the beep to tell you your toast is done works excellent, and keeps the bread warm until you raise the toast yourself. It also goes with all our other KitchenAid products, all of which we are extremely pleased with. After we bought ours, we saw it on the TV show "Brothers and Sisters" with one of the characters raising his toast. The kids liked our toaster even better after that! Adequate but not worth the money:

I've owned the KitchenAid Pro Line 4 slice toaster for acouple of years now....actually I'm on my second one. The first one (bought from Williams Sonoma when they were the "exclusive" sellers, who no longer carry it.....so that should be a tip off right there) was recalled by the manufacturer due to faulty wiring that allegedly caused/could cause a fire (yikes).
