Jet Dust Collector:
I bought this to replace an older dust collector. It is better in every way. Quiet, excellent suction, finer filtration, easier to empty bag. The machine itself is beautifully made and went together very easily. A terrific upgrade for my shop. I don't know how I got along without the remote control. I used to have to let the collector roar while I got things set up so it would be running when the machine started. Now I can set up in peace and quiet and just before the machine goes on, I touch the remote... more info

So glad I bought this collector. I have had it for about 6 months now and it really does the job. It got my wife off my back about dust all over the basement. Love the remote control if you are going to buy one make sure you have the remote it is so handy. Dealing with Amazon & wmh tool was a pleasure everything was done just as stated.
Powerful dust collector, but cumbersome bag change:
I originally thought the remote was a worthless frill, but now I think it is a great asset. It lets you stretch out the hose and remotely turn it on when needed at the planer or table saw. It has no problem keeping up with my 15" planer at full blast.
Con: Changing the dust bag is a pain. I think that there could be an easier way to change this, which isn't a problem when its empty, but it is a pain when its full. Therefore, I recommend a cyclone type unit to catch your big chuncks and reduce bag... more info
