The Jet Bench Mount Drill Press is a versatile tool with 16 speeds ranging from 200 to 3,630 RPM and powered by a 3/4 HP 115/230 Volt motor. The drill press's hinged metal belt, pulley cover, and quick-adjustment motor mount allow you to rapidly change the spindle speed. The crank-operated, rotating worktable is able to tilt up to 45 degrees for added versatility, the worktable provides you with a full 10-by-13-inch work surface in front of the drill bit, features X-pattern mounting grooves, and is reversible for mounting a fence in the rear mounting grooves. This drill press has a 15-inch swing, comes with a 5/8-inch drill chuck and key, and has a convenient built-in work-light (bulb not included). Designed with an adjustable tension spindle return spring, this tool also features a quick-set depth stop with convenient display in inches and millimeters. The push-button switch is located on the front of the drill press head for added safety, and the spindle is supported by high-quality ball bearings. The 66-millimeter quill assembly can fit the optional Jet mortising attachment.

Jet Bench Drill Press:
I just received my drill press. The handle that raises the table is too short to reach anything and consequently, the table cannot be raised or lowered unless it is done manually without use of the handle. Did anyone have this problem? When I called Jet they told me to take it to a repair shop. It is brand new why do I need it repaired? Thanks. Joe
great drill press:
I was looking for a benchtop drill press, and decided to get the jet. It is called a bench top drill press but i think that it is a full size drill press on a short pole. The table top is the biggest in its class. Changing speeds and setting the depth stop are excellent. Spend the extra money for a 3/4 hp instead of a 1/2 or 1/3 hp. Just another great jet product.

The Jet drill is performing perfectly. Good fit for me and my shop. My Amazon experience coulda used some help. I ordered this is early February and it didn't arrive until a few days ago. The item said in stock soon (this means nothing other than not in stock I came to learn). I called several Jet dealers and they had it in stock. I even sent the dealers numbers to Amazon to fulfill the order. In the end...they use one dealer who did not have it in stock. I saved a good deal on this Machine, but, I... more info
