Cook your vegetables the healthy way with this steamer insert. When inside either the 3- or 4-qt. JA Henckels Classic Clad Saucepan, steam from below comes through small holes on the bottom. Made of 18/10 stainless steel with a multi-ply clad construction, the insert features sturdy, riveted side handles. Saucepan sold separately. Hand wash recommended. Imported.Designed to fit perfectly inside the Classic Clad 3- and 4-quart saucepans, the 18/10 stainless steel insert stays right in the pot during cooking. For vegetables such as broccoli florets, corn, and new potatoes, the insert works beautifully. Simply fill the saucepan (sold separately) with a small amount of water, and bring to a boil. The steam rises through the holes in the insert bottom and cooks the food without boiling away important nutrients. When done, the insert lifts out of the pan with two riveted handles, and may be placed under cold running water if desired. The flared rim of the insert facilitates pouring.
