Pros:
Unit seems to be sturdy enough and the numerals are easy to read.
Responds quickly to changes (i.e. taking it outside) Cons:
Button on front doesn't seem to function properly (not that this matters much to me) I would recommend this to a friend who wanted a inexpensive hygrometer/thermometer.

It does the job:
We put this indoor thermometer in our baby room upstairs. It works great. We were looking for something that just gives the temp, didn't really need any other bells/whistles. The humidity level reading is a fine addition, but we really only focus on the temp. This is perfect. It appears to give an accurate temp.
Fits my need perfectly:
I wanted to be able to read the temperature and humidity from anywhere in the room in a device that looked good on the wall. This one meets my needs perfectly. Although, as one reviewer points out, the case is made of light plastic, this isn't a device that one handles much; and, it does not look cheap. The readout is clear and large, the classic design is clean and simple, and the dark frame harmonizes with the paintings on the wall.
