Rack 'em up!:
This clothing rack was just what I needed to dry small items... socks, underwear, small towels fit perfectly on this rack. I would not recommend it for large items unless you only have one or two to place on it. (2 towels, 2 pair of pants, etc). If you are looking for a clothing rack that easily folds up to store and don't need to dry large items, this one is perfect. A+
compact drying space:
Bought both this whitney 5147 drying rack and a polder drying rack. Polder is too narrow. Whitney 5147 enables you to hang towels and t-shirts, whereas polder seems to only be good for underwear and socks. Whitney: two thumbs up. Polder: two thumbs down.
5147 - kickass:
i love these. have 2. used them for a year and half, through all sorts of weather, heavy wet clothes, etc. bought them because of the amazon reviews. especially one review who referenced it by number like a classic car model - which still makes me laugh. this isn't a complaint, but sadly, i broke one today. i stupidly decided it could balance a huge weight of ice on top - dont' ask - and the weight managed to collapsed the top and break one of the poles ):. i'll update this if the other one breaks, but... more info
