Milwaukee Panel Saw Quick Stop Gauging Kit. Does it work?:
I bought the saw a few months ago and noticed that the tape stopped at 30". My first project needed material cut into 38 1/2" lengths! I needed consistent sizes so I tried: clamping an extension with a ruler on it; marking the veneer and peeking around the saw to align the cut; marking the saw's motor carriage with magic marker and lining that mark up with a pencil mark on the sheet goods... You get the picture. I ordered the Quick Stop Gauge for the next project and haven't looked back. It's well made,... more info
