Very dissapointed:
I was looking for a basic laser level to use it outdoors, my decision was based on the reviews but my experience with this level laser indicates me that it is not suitable for use it outdoors, you can barely see the laser dot on the sunlight or don't see it at all. Also the level itself has only one point of reference which is almost useless; it will work well on a flat surface, it says you can use it for cabinet installations but they forgot to tell you that you will need a tripod to do it properly, not so... more info
Finally, a good laser level:
This is an outstanding laser level. It has its own levelling device and the laser beam is still sharp in the daylight and after fifty feet.
Good all around landscaping tool.:
I have used this laser level outside for landscape work. It's great for leveling stone walls and laying out small ponds. I use a camera tripod and have no trouble seeing the laser dot during daylight. It's a solid piece of equipment and you can't beat the price.
