Humidifies nothing, but leaks all over:
Bought this at the end of last winter. It worked all right the couple of times we used it, but when we have been using it this winter, it consistently empties out the tank when the tank gets close to empty, resulting in the water spilling out all over the floors. Get this product if you want an excuse to get new floors, because you could wake up and find a giant puddle of water everywhere! better than I had hoped:
I got this unit to replace an older model that had stopped. This unit so far two months in is almost perfect. It runs smooth and quiet. Filling is easy and only uses 3/4 tank at nite right now(sept. in Phx). My only issue is you have to twist on the cap hard to keep it from dripping when you carry it back to install it after filling.
No complaints here:
We bought this last winter after our family was suffering bloody noses and sinus pain due to the dryness in our home. We happen to like the fan noise, but we have always used a fan to help us stay asleep. I can see where it would be annoying to those not used to the white noise. Found this to be the best value out there and even with our hard water we have used this humidifier with no ill effects.
