If you've ever cut a tenon on your router table, you will appreciate this simple yet perfect jig for the table saw.

Jet's design fits all left- and right-tilt saws with a 3/8- by ¾-inch slot for the miter gauge, found on most standard saws. It's made of brute-strong cast iron, and the fit and finish are Jet quality. It's made for a T-slot groove, but the T is removable to fit a plain grove as well. Assembly is quick and straightforward, and the beauty and precision of the jig will be apparent during your calibration and setup.

If you're in production work, this jig is a great choice, because it's got a quick-release feature that gets your finished piece out and your new stock in place in just a couple seconds. The handwheel tightens your workpiece securely against the fence, and fast, gross adjustments are a snap: just loosen the locking levers, move the fence and tighten them up again. But fine adjustments are just as easy - loosen both levers, move the fence, tighten just one of the levers, adjust the fence with the knob and tighten down the second lock lever.

Building chairs? Even angled tenons are a breeze, because the backstop tilts quickly and easily to accommodate an angle. Be sure to mount a wood block spacer to the fence before that type of cut, though; Jet's provided four holes in the fence for that.

There's nothing we can think of that would improve this jig; it holds your workpiece like a vise and gives you both a horizontal and vertical handle for a superb, safe grip. Repeated cuts couldn't be more accurate.

We know there are woodworking purists for whom building a tenoning jig is a rite of passage, and we salute you. But this jig is so cool, you might want to pick one up after you've built your own.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Outstanding!!!!!!:

This jig saved me more time. Cuts were so accurate, I don't know how I managed without it. Again, great tool solidly built and designed.

Not what I would have expected from Jet:

I bought this over the Delta product based on the reviews I read on Amazon and other sites. It is quite hefty and eventually does what it is intended to do. However, it arrived soaked in grease that required a complete disassembly to clean off every part. The baseplate had some burs that required filing to prevent scratching my saw's top. The measurement guage is a complete joke and on my saw can not be zeroed out (its off by > 3/16). The fine adjustment knob is extremely difficult to turn despite cleaning... more info

Massive & Heavy!:

Just bought this last week to replace my old one. To say this thing is heavy is an understatement. You almost can't lift it with one hand. It makes very accurate tenons and operates smoothly and consistantly. Pro quality all the way!

Somewhat Disappointed:

After compairing user reviews for Delta, Grizzley, and the JET, the Jet was an easy choice. It arrived in a timely manner without any shipping damage. During assembly and adjustment things began to get pear shaped. The silver vertical fence that holds the work piece at 90 degrees to the table and adjusts for beveling had a large burr in the upper edge. I'm glad I noticed this before gouging a project piece.
