I just knew it ...:
I have had my Oxo Good Grips Black Plastic Trash Can for about 3 weeks now. The reviews I read were correct - the label was very difficult to remove. Don't try Goo-Gone it removes some of the color on the can. Any who - the cover has come off several times (it is off right now) I do manage to get it back on but, I have a house full of children several days a week & I think its a little too delicate for them. All and all it serves the purpose... It holds trash .
nice trash can but...:
This is a nice trash can. Looks nice, works well, but the hinge on the lid sticks out about 3 inches in the back. Consequently the trash can will not set against the wall without scratching the paint and looks like its sitting in the middle of the floor.
Mega delivery problems!:
I ordered this trash can because of the good reviews and the reputation of OXO Good Grips. First order, no foot petal. Replacement, wrong color. Second replacement, wrong color again. Cancelled order. This is the first time this has happened to me with Amazon. Just got tired rewrapping and taking to UPS.
pedal too small:
paid too much money, and too small a pedal for a toe, let alone a foot
