Black & Decker has built in a "no memory" technology that gives you 500 recharges (and more, we've heard) without ever losing capacity. And we could be wrong, but we think these do seem a little more powerful than the batteries that come with Firestorm and other Black & Decker 18-volt tools. But like those, these slide super-easily on and off tools, so even smaller hands have no trouble with them.

B&D Battery:
Have charged this battery over fifteen times so far and have had no problems. I can get about twenty minutes of continuous use out of each charge. All-in-all, I'm very happy with the performance.
CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT:
THIS BATTERY MAKES LIFE SO EASY. IT ALLOWS YOU TO BE "WIRELESS" TO BLOW DRIVE AND LEAVES OR TRIM YOUR YARD. NO ELECTRIC CORDS TO PULL AROUND! LASTS FOR ABOT 20 MINUTES..LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO GET MY WORK DONE.
Longer lasting battery:
The Firestarter batteries seem to last longer than the batteries that came with the tools (regular B&D batteries).
Rechargeable Battery:
Replacement battery that fits the Black and Decker line of yard tools/power tools. Charges quickly, holds a charge for about 25 minutes of run time. A must have if you need an extra powerpack for those jobs around the house.
