DANGEROUS!!!!!!!:
DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE, IT IS TOO CHEAP. AND THE COMPUTER IS NOT PROGRAMMMED ACCURATELY. Everything went well until I sewed the button hole. The computer had a mind of its own, and would go too far to the right. I stopped using it after 2 needles bent. Thank God they did not break off! Try a Janome instead. Remember, we get what we pay for. My life is worth more than this piece of junk.
Great sewing machine for the price:
I just purchased this machine for the little girl I teach sewing to and am jealous of how many features it offers and how nice it sews. I've recommended it to 7 of my friends and family and all love how well it handles thin and thick fabrics alike. This is really a great machine.
A simple, efficient machine:
This machine came with a very easy-to-follow setup instruction. It's been over 10 years since I used a sewing machine last time, yet I was able to start using the machine in no time. I've been having trouble with getting the thread tension balanced between upper and lower thread, with occasional E-6 error and skipped stitches for the zig-zag pattern. It really defeats the purpose of the reviews if they are not from confirmed purchasers of the product, don't you agree? This seems like any easy thing to address. It would certainly be more useful and helpful. I am very frustrated by the reviews-especially the ones by PLEIN JANE, for example. SHE HAS REVIEWED 3 DIFFERENT MACHINES, and HER STORIES DON'T ADD UP.
