Transfer switch keeps a 120/240-volt circuit running in blackouts
Prewired switch installs indoors next to load center
Includes three combination knockouts for easier wiring
Easily connects to your generator in a blackout
Editorial Review:
The GenTran two-circuit generator transfer switch for up to 12,500-watt generators is an ideal way to keep a 50 Amp 120/240-volt circuit running during a blackout. It comes prewired and installs indoors, next to your load center. The ground post is incorporated in the enclosure, and three combination 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch knockouts on the sides and back make wiring fast and easy. When your power goes off, you'll connect a power cord from your generator to the inlet on the transfer switch and start your generator. Switch the utility breaker off, slide over the interlock, and switch the generator breaker on. When utility power is restored, simply do the reverse, then shut down and store your generator.

Exactly what I wanted:
I have been looking for a reasonably priced transfer switch and this is it! Clear instructions, all the correct size wires, up to 8 breakers in a compact sturdy box. Code compliant. Compared to others at three times the price, this is a bargain. Prompt delivery.
