This is a great stainless steel slicer that every salad lover should have. It is small and handy and I use it directly over the individual salad bowls. I use it every day to slice cucumber and carrots for my salad. You can adjust it from thin to thick and it does an excellent job. I throw it into my dishwasher and it's easy to maintain. This is pure perfection for the price. The thickness dial is great...you can slice very thinly or thickly. Makes great breakfast potatoes, slice ginger perfectly & makes a great cucumber salad. I loved it so much I purchased 4 more for gifts. Love it!
