Surprisingly Strong!:
When I took it out of its package, I thought - "This will never hold my knives". What a surprise I received when I raised the bar up with three of my large knives attached to it. I don't know why I associated the light weight of this strip with its magnetic ability to hold many knives - but I did and I was wrong. Its the perfect length for the wall space I prepared. Shopped around on-line for an item like this and this one was the best price. The quality is good and it was super easy to install. Does what it is supposed to do! Much easier than a "knife drawer", which is what we used previously.
