Emerald employs the same shape as Winterberry, with scalloped edges and an appealing bas-relief scrolling leaf design, but with one major difference--the new dinnerware is solid bright green. With limitless possibilities, the green Emerald pieces mix and match as accents with regular Winterberry, which is snowy white with green holly and red berries, or with Winterberry Ruby, which is solid red. I bought this and a set of the matching mugs, along with a set of Corelle, for a wedding gift. I love the idea of a nice dark green set to set off a patterned set. Dark green goes with everything.
