Before getting this product we had a disposable filter. I like having something I can wash and reuse. Two weeks after getting this filter I put the vacuum bag in wrong and had dust all over inside the vacuum. What a huge mess. I washed the filter and couldn't believe all the junk that came out. It was great being able to just put it back into the vacuum after it was dry and not have to worry about having to find a new one. Now if only the vacuum itself was bagless!! (o:
