The properties of cast iron make it the best little fondue pot and mini sauce/gravy boat. Just heat up cream and chocolate to make the ganache and the pot keeps it warm for a long time without a flame. That way you can carry it around the house. Customer Review: I absolutely love Le Creuset...their pans are extremely well made, and worth the money. So many of the cast iron cookware are made in China, but Le Creuset is made in France, and has been for over 50 years that I know of.
