Nice starter dishes:

We received these dishes for our wedding (set of 8) six months ago and we really like them. I have not had the problem with glaze cracking, as the other reviewer cited. I too was surprised with how large the mugs and bowls are. I don't mind whatsoever - the sandbar glasses are VERY large though. Again, no problem for me but if you want something smaller, I'd keep looking. HUGE tableware that crackles:

I bought 8 sets of this dinnerware (can't complain about the price and free shipping!) but was shocked to see how large all the pieces are. The dinner plate barely clears my dishwashing rack. The main problem is however, that several salad plates began getting cracking in the glaze--don't know how else to describe it. Almost like they were very old. I will return these for that reason. Bummers, otherwise, they are very nice (but BIG!)
