The new design on Hitachi's 5-inch random orbit sander is going to really turn some heads. This variable speed unit delivers 230 watts from the powerful 2 amp motor. Operation is guaranteed to be smooth and precise with the all ball bearing construction, while the soft elastomer grip reduces vibration and provides a comfortable grip. Hitachi has also incorporated a pad control system to maintain speed and minimize gouges, plus a dust collection bag that keeps your work environment cleaner and extends the life of your sandpaper. This model uses hook-and-loop sandpaper.
