Can't beat it for the price:

I've got two of these routers. I keep one mounted in a mortising jig and the other sees most if its use on a dovetail jig. They are very compact and easy to wield. They are also quieter than any other router I've heard. The soft start feature is nice when dovetailing and frequently turning the machine on and off.

Sorry:

I wanted to like Hitachi because of the price & the looks, but the motor fried the 2nd time I used it. I own a small cabinet shop in PA.

Great Router:

This is an excellent router. I do wish I had bought the variable speed model. The single speed model works great. I love the Hitachi look and feel.
