Very poor quality.:

We dehydrate a lot of sweet-potato's, and wanted a utility to speed up the process of cutting the fries. I looked around and saw some of the cutters available and quite a few of them looked like cheap plastic so I intentionally avoided them. This one is stainless steel and was a bit pricier then other models, the reviews in general were pretty good so I ordered it.

works very well:

if only it were a bit bigger it would have gotten full stars, i buy big potatoes so i usually have to trim the taters down. its also useful for dicing other vegetable and fruits, just cut into thick slices and put into machine and you got a bunch of cubes.

Ok for the price:

Make sure you microwave the potatoes first to somewhat soften them up. If you apply to much pressure, the cutter will bend.

Great fries:

I just received my French Fry Cutter. It is really neat! It works so much better than cutting them with a knife and is much faster. I like to leave the skins on the potatoes and so it is a little harder to get the potato to go through but other than that this device is almost perfect.
