Even my husband commented on what a handy knife this is for a wide variety of uses & he is a genuine Henckel lover. I am very pleased with it, esp for the price. It is comfortable, sharp enough to cut right thru fish heads & then thinly slice chicken or cucumbers & even tomatoes. If I could only have 1 knife, this would be it, which is amazing since I have 2 complete sets of Henckels!

Before this knife, my knife collection was a set of three I got from IKEA for a dollar and a half, so I am probably not the best source on knife quality...but this one is much, MUCH better than those. :-D I do love it -- seems very sharp to me, and I really like the slightly curved blade, which makes chopping things easier, by "rocking" the blade back and forth. Plus, it's pink, so I can always find it quickly in the drawer! (Note: this may not work if all of your other knives are already pink.) ;-)
