Works:
Got this so I could listen to my ipod in the car. It works but I hate the fact the sound is so crapy. If you don't get it right on the ipod it just has that horrible noise in the background. If I had known this I wouldn't have spent the $13+ for this. Until then I can live with it until I get a receiver that plays ipods.
Low quality sound:
Retractable cable is a good feature for use, but the sound quality is not good enough. You may hear additional noise, not apparently, but it is there.
retractable makes the difference:
I had a similar product before (different manufacturer) but after about 2 yrs the cord shorted out, I'm pretty sure it broke at the miniplug attachment. I scoured the market for a replacement, this was one of the few that included automatic retracting, a necessity because this was for my wife's car and she doesn't want loose wires everywhere!
Anyway, it works as advertised, we'll see how long the cord lasts.

I didn't experience ANY trouble with this product at all, & neither did my friend who also purchased one. The retractable cord is very handy, keeping things neat in the car & making it easy to store. The sound quality is the same as listening to a CD. It's MUCH BETTER than using one of those transmitters because you don't have to worry about static or radio interruption.
